On Tuesday, Huddersfield Circle hosted the annual "At Home to Provinces 3 North & 3 South", attended by 25 members, 1 prospective member and 43 visitors, including Past Grand Presidents John Clarke and Joe McNalluy. This was also the occasion for the presentation of numerous trophies. Shown above are the relevant photographs :-
334. Huddersfield President Ray Hodgson presents the Visitors' Trophy, for the greatest distance travelled by a visitor, to Tony Millen of Ampleforth Circle.
335. As 3 North Provincial President Gary Porter (Hull Circle) was unable to attend due to business commitments, Provincial Vice-President Steve O'Neill (Wharfedale Circle) presented te Loving Cup, for the highest average Circle attendance, to David Stanton, President of Bradford Circle.
336. Andrew Hartley of Sheffield (8) Circle received the Joe Reilly Trophy for having visited the most Circles during the past year ..
337. The Viking Cup, for the highest average number of visits to other Circles, was awarded to John Kelly and Philip Nolan, both of Wetherby Circle.
338. There was a special presentation to Huddersfield Circle, President Ray Hodgson with Ken Pilling, shown holding the Raymond Ram Golf Trophy, won by Ken at the Annual Conference weekend in Eastnourne.
On the conclusion of the meeting, all retired to the Dining Room to enjoy a very fine meal (see photograph 333 above)
